Turkish Pasta ⁠

7 oz pasta of choice ⁠
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil ⁠
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped ⁠
1/2 pound ground beef ⁠
1/4 tsp curry powder ⁠
1 tsp ground cumin ⁠
1/2 tsp paprika ⁠
1 tbsp tomato paste ⁠
1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered ⁠
1 tbsp parsley leaves, chopped ⁠
Salt and pepper ⁠


For the yogurt sauce ⁠
1/2 cup greek yougurt ⁠
1 garlic clove ⁠
Salt and pepper ⁠

For the paprika butter ⁠
1/4 cup butter ⁠
1tbsp paprika ⁠
salt and pepper ⁠


In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. ⁠
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the the onion and cook until softened. ⁠
Add beef, curry powder, ground cumin, paprika and tomato paste. ⁠
Break up meat with a spatula and cook until fully browned ⁠
Meanwhile make the yogurt sauce by stirringtogether yogurt, garlic and salt in a bowl until well blended and set aside ⁠
Melt butter in a small skillet or saucepan and stir in paprika and salt to taste. Keep warm. ⁠
In a serving bowl layer the pasta, yogurt sauce and beef. Top with cherry tomatoes and parsley and drizzle with paprika butter. ⁠
